Giles Pates is a New York based creative director, with an extensive background in video and post production.

His work is embedded in the cross roads between art direction, design, animation, motion, and video-editing (all of which he is able to successfuly implement). He has led the creation and conception of assets for independent clients alongside agencies to create campaigns which have stood the test of time. He is able to lead and direct teams as a kindred collaborator, which has been key to successful outcomes.

He started the formative years of his career at Chandelier Creative, which was soon followed by two years at Calvin Klein. Since then - he has worked with brands like ADT, Chanel, Kate Spade, Citi Bank, Futurewise, and many more.

When he’s not working, he’s painting or cooking.
